that’s true. though I tend to think people who act cold intentionally are even shyer and more insecure than anyone else. they need a little bravery. I would know, I was like that for awhile, but I think that was because I loathed myself too much to be otherwise. I learned to open up however, but it took me years.

it is lame, and people who stay like that are lame, but that is generally because they struggle to be honest with themselves. it is still a basic human flaw, so I try to just understand what they are doing, and where they are coming from - and let it slide, though that doesn’t mean I’ll be best friends with them, just that I won’t let it upset me too much.
